Woman in Red by Eileen Goudge, The Shell Seekers, Inspirational books by Karen O'Connor. Anything well written and substative., Barbara Delinsky, Rosamunde Pilcher; now reading A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS.

Bridges of Madison County, Older Classics like Paint Your Wagon, Casablanca, A River Ran Through It, The Pianist., I enjoy anything starring Richard Gere. Mama Mia was delightful.

I enjoy watching the Mentalist. C-Span, PBS specials .
Favorite Places:

New Orleans (lived there for eleven years, Also lived in Savannah, and North Carolina. Mexico City used to be a wonderful cultural city. Guatemala is a beautiful country, visually. My very favorite place is Palm Beach Gardens where I now live. It's "almost paradise".

Painting in oils and acrylic, writing essays, memoir, novels, occasional poetry, decorating., playing Mah Jongg. Now editing my third novel. (Just finished and sent to the publisher. Stay tuned.)

Marie, this is probably a stupid question but when you write a novel, who proofreads it for you... Most writers seem to have a college degree, but what about those who don't have a strong background in writing... Where do they get help from??

Marie, thank you for your helpful comment about incorporating the two pieces in my novel, The House of Annon. It makes me feel really good that you suggested it because that is what I did. They are both in there but I was having doubts about the 2 one, which is the one I went with.
